About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an approachable and caring Learning Support Teacher to join the supportive team at Cathedral Catholic Primary School in Bathurst, NSW. The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student. 

We are seeking a Learning Support Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:

• Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
• Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
• Using inclusive teaching strategies and adopting practices for equitable education.
• Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
• Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contributing to school life.
• Providing student supervision and assisting in organising extracurricular activities.

About You
The PDHPE Teacher will demonstrate the following selection criteria::

• A competent and enthusiastic teacher of PDHPE.
• Exceptional behaviour management skills.
• A track record of implementing inclusive practices in a school setting.
• Understanding of current research and practices to support students with a disability
  and those requiring additional support.
• A proven record of positive communication in a warm and professional manner with
  families, children and staff.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to the mission of Catholic Education.
