St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic systemic, single stream Co-Educational School located in South Dubbo. South Dubbo is a growing area and enrolments have increased to near capacity. Providing an education for Catholic students is our priority. 

Applications are invited from the above position from qualified and innovative educators who demonstrate a sincere commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education and possess appropriate qualifications.

Suitable applicants for this position will be able to demonstrate the below criteria within their application:

• Provide confirmation of Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
• Demonstrated understanding of and sincere commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education, including the values of social justice, equity and reconciliation.
• Demonstrate an appropriate level of skill in literacy and numeracy especially as it relates to assisting students.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to cater for the needs of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students.
• Demonstrated knowledge of educational issues that affect Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students.
• Demonstrated links with the local Aboriginal community.
• Demonstrated ability to promote and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander traditions and culture within the whole school community
