We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Ancillary Officers to join our team on a casual basis, supporting our network of 33 schools across the Central West of NSW. This casual talent pool supports a range of school-based operational roles, including administration, canteen, grounds and maintenance, and cleaning.

By joining our Casual Ancillary Talent Pool, you will contribute to the day-to-day operation of our schools and be part of a close-knit community committed to positively impacting the lives of students.

Who we are:
The Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst (CEDB) is encompassed by the Blue Mountains, Warrumbungle Ranges, the Pilliga, Macquarie River, Lachlan River, Abercrombie River and the Jenolan State Forest. The Diocese covers 103,680 square kilometres and comprises of Three Traditional Nations: the Wiradjuri, Gamilaraay/Gomeroi, and Wailwan nations.

CEDB is responsible for 33 schools, approximately 9,600 students and over 1,700 staff. CEDB is seeking dynamic staff to join our school communities who are committed to making a difference in the lives of their students and their world. What we are looking for (selection criteria):

  • A valid NSW Working With Children Check
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Administration support
    • Canteen or food service operations
    • Grounds and maintenance
    • Cleaning services
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a school environment
  • Strong organisational skills and reliability
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a welcoming school community
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across a variety of schools if required
