About the Role
St Pius X Catholic Primary School, Dubbo has an exciting opportunity for a Diverse Learning Teacher to join the team on a permanent, part-time basis commencing Term 1, 2026. The Diverse Learning Teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can work with other members of the school to ensure that the 'High Levels of Learning and Wellbeing For All' goal is alive and embedded into all practices within the Learning & Teaching environment of the school.
We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:
Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
Liaising with parents and allied health professionals to support their students engagement in learning.
Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contributing to school life.

About You
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Individual Profiles (IPs) and oversee the completion of National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) requirements.
Proven experience in collaborating with school counsellors, classroom teachers, and executive staff to address whole-school issues and support targeted response programs.
Strong skills in coordinating transition processes for students at various educational stages, including starting school, transitioning to high school.
Capacity to work effectively with teacher's aides and Allied Health professionals to deliver high-quality programs such as PreLit, MiniLit, MultiLit, and QuickSmart.
Expertise in promoting differentiated and inclusive learning experiences to meet diverse student needs, including literacy, numeracy, ESL, behaviour, and gifted and talented students.
Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including completing timely funding applications and implementing recommendations from professional reports or meetings.
