School Maintenance Officer Position
MacKillop College, Bathurst
Permanent, full-time (76 Hours per fortnight)
Hourly Rate: from $30.35 per hour
Applications are now open for a motivated, self-starter to join the team at MacKillop College, Bathurst as Maintenance Officer.
About the role
The new Maintenance Officer will:
Manage College maintenance and repairs and liaise with contractors.
Set up for and pack down after major College events and examination blocks.
Drive the College buses for regular and ad hoc events/excursions.
Undertake scheduled holiday works as required.
Coordinate the maintenance of College vehicles
Assist with cleaning, rubbish removal and office deliveries as required.
Comply with all WHS requirements and be a member of the WHS committee.
About you (Selection Criteria)
Be able to work without supervision while meeting deadlines
Have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
Hold a current Working with Children’s Check (Essential)
Hold a current Light Rigid (LR) Drivers’ Licence or higher (Essential)
Demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of the Catholic faith and mission of the school

General hours of work, 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
