Commencing: ASAP Upon negotiation

Hours per fortnight - 9 hours (can be negotiated)

Hourly Rate $31.26-$37.01 (Based on qualifications)

Applications are now open for a motivated, self-starter to join the team at St Michael’s Catholic Primary School, Dunedoo as the new Grounds and Maintenance Officer.

About you
The new Grounds and Maintenance Officer will:

• Be experienced in ground maintenance with the ability to carry out numerous gardening duties around the school ground (eg. weeding, edging, pruning etc)
• Hold good knowledge of lawn maintenance and cultivation
• Be able to work without supervision while meeting deadlines
• Have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
• Hold a current Working with Children’s Check
• Hold a current White Card and Drivers’ Licence
• Demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of the Catholic faith and mission of the school

St Michael’s School is a Catholic Primary School situated in the small rural township of Dunedoo. The School was established by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1921 and continues the Mission of Saint Mary MacKillop and Julian Tenison Woods of educating rural children. St Michael's is very much a “family” school, small enough to be familiar with each child’s needs and interests. It strives to establish an environment, which fosters the development of the whole person thus enabling children to witness and understand the richness and joy of a life, lived in accordance with the teachings of Christ.
