School Grounds and Maintenance Position

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Blayney

Permanent | Part-time (14 hours per fortnight) 

Commencing ASAP by negotiation 

Hourly rate ranging from $27.87 - $35.94  

 

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Blayney is seeking a skilled Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join the team in a permanent part-time capacity, working 67.6 hours per fortnight. This role supports the operational services of the school, including building maintenance, and grounds upkeep.

About you
The new Grounds and Maintenance Officer will:

  • Be experienced in ground maintenance with the ability to carry out numerous gardening duties around the school ground (eg. weeding, edging, pruning etc)
  • Hold good knowledge of lawn maintenance and cultivation
  • Be able to work without supervision while meeting deadlines
  • Have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
  • Hold a current Working with Children’s Check
  • Hold a current White Card and Drivers’ Licence
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of the Catholic faith and mission of the school
