At The Assumption School, we have a proud history in Bathurst, beginning in 1952 when the Sisters of St. Joseph first established the school. From those beginnings, our school has grown and changed into a vibrant contemporary Catholic community where children are known, valued and cared for. What has stayed the same over the years is the vital role that our school plays in our community providing quality Catholic education and ministry.

Suitable applicants for this position will be able to demonstrate:

• The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation;
• Excellent communication, administration, technological and organisational skills;
• Experience in the area of managing finance ( including budget management, ordering, invoicing, receipting, accounts, reconciliation, GST and school fee management), facilities and general business management;
• Sound personal skills which include patience, perseverance and diplomacy;
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team;
• The ability to and demonstrated skills in working independently, prioritising own work and managing time effectively;
• Awareness of confidentiality and privacy requirements.
