About the Role
The Religious Education Coordinator is an integral member of the Catholic school's leadership team, working under the direction of the Principal and in collaboration with clergy, staff, parents, Catholic Education personnel, and the wider faith community.
In the Diocese of Bathurst, the role encompasses three key domains of leadership:
Religious Leadership: Foster Catholic tradition, spirituality, social justice, pastoral care, and liturgical life, while encouraging active parental engagement.
Educational Leadership: Model and promote high-quality teaching aligned with Gospel values, oversee Religious Education curriculum, and enhance learning through data-informed practices.
Enabling Leadership: Lead strategic initiatives, manage resources effectively, build collaborative partnerships, and support staff accreditation in Religious Education.
