$41.00 - $47.59 per hour

About the Role
Reporting to the Personal Assistant to the Executive Director of Schools, the Administration Assistant shares the responsibility for the efficient operation of the Reception office, as well as providing support to the Personal Assistant to the Executive Director of Schools. The Administration Assistant will carry out a range of receptionist and administrative duties to support the effective functioning of the Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst office, including but not limited to handling telephone, email and visitor enquiries, and general clerical responsibilities. This position is a shared role.


About You (Selection Criteria)
To excel in this exciting opportunity, you embody the following selection criteria:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role
  • A professional and personable disposition with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Proficiency in duties such as customer service, maintaining records, typing, and assisting with event management
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of the wider workplace
  • Experience in arranging travel, accommodation bookings, and conference registrations preferred
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • A willingness to support the Catholic tradition and ethos in the workplace
