Grounds & Maintenance Officer | St Matthew's Catholic School, Mudgee 

Permanent | Part-time (67.6 hours per fortnight)

Hourly rate ranging from $27.87 - $35.94  

 

About Role 

St Matthew's Catholic School, Mudgee is seeking a skilled Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join the team in a permanent part-time capacity, working 67.6 hours per fortnight. This role supports the operational services of the school, including building maintenance, and grounds upkeep.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintenance and care of lawns, sporting ovals and gardens. 
  • Preparation of ovals for sporting events and carnivals as required. 
  • Management and safe distribution of organic and chemical pesticide sprays and fertilisers. 
  • Safely operate and maintain machinery as required. 
  • Liaise with, and monitor, external contractors to ensure contractual expectations are delivered to a satisfactory standard if required. 
  • Assist with maintenance tasks as directed by the School Principal. 
  • Contribute to the cleanliness and good order of the grounds and maintenance storage and work areas. 
  • Undertake the cleanliness and appearances of the externals of buildings and structures as required.
