About the Role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Music Teacher to become a valuable addition to the team at James Sheahan Catholic High School, Orange. The teacher in a Secondary Catholic School is someone who can collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs relevant to the music curriculum while creating a nurturing and order learning environment for their students. 

We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:

  • Commitment to Catholic education and a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic Schools

  • Competency to integrate technology effectively to maximise student outcomes and engagement

  • Demonstrated ability to promote a culture of effort, engagement and excellence through the development of a positive, supportive student environment

  • Qualifications and/or willingness to teach Junior and Senior Music courses and willingness to teach Drama

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a collaborative team environment
