About the Role
St Mary's CPS, Orange is seeking an Assistant Principal to join the senior leadership team to support the faith, inclusion and academic excellence of the school community.
Key responsibilities:
Creating a faith community that brings the Gospel and teachings of the Catholic Church to all the students, families and staff;
Model and promote excellence in teaching and learning with a focus on evidence-based, inclusive pedagogy.
Provide leadership in religious education, ensuring faith development is integral to school life.
Lead initiatives that improve student wellbeing, engagement, and achievement.
Support, mentor, and develop teachers and middle leaders to foster professional growth.
Collaborate on school-wide strategic planning, resource management, and community engagement.
Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school culture that values every member of the community.

About You
A committed and practising Catholic who can articulate and promote a deep understanding of the mission of Catholic education.
Accredited, or qualified to be accredited, at least at Category D, but preferably at Category E or willingness to attain Category E in your first contract period (Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools Policy).
Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
Demonstrated success as an accomplished teacher with high expectations for student learning.
Demonstrated ability to foster a learning culture of shared responsibility focused on quality teaching, and quality learning for all students, and ensuring excellence in teaching and learning
Proven leadership in faith formation, education, and staff development.
Experience building effective partnerships with families and parishes.
Ability to use data and research to inform continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
A strong commitment to Catholic values and the mission of the Church.
