Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst (CEDB) is seeking a capable Marketing Officer to join the Executive Director’s Office. This newly created role will support the delivery of practical, high-quality marketing activity across a system of 33 schools, with a focus on the student recruitment journey, enrolment growth and school-level marketing activity.

The role will suit someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life, coordinating campaigns across digital and school-based channels, and working with schools to strengthen engagement with prospective families.

About the role
Reporting to the Strategic Marketing Specialist, the Marketing Officer will work across varied campaigns, content, digital activity and school-based initiatives. This includes coordinating activity across channels, supporting schools with practical marketing needs, and helping deliver consistent, engaging communications for prospective families.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns to support student recruitment and enrolment growth
  • Coordinate campaign activity across digital, content and school-based channels
  • Support website content, landing pages and enquiry pathways to improve the prospective family experience
  • Assist schools with key conversion activities, including Open Days, school tours and follow-up activity
  • Work with schools to strengthen engagement with prospective families and support consistent recruitment practices
  • Deliver campaigns and communications through the CRM platform, in alignment with workflows, pipeline stages and reporting
  • Use campaign data and insights to identify opportunities to improve engagement, enquiry and conversion outcomes
  • Provide practical, hands-on marketing support tailored to school context and local enrolment needs

About you (Selection Criteria)
You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing or communications, with a focus on campaign delivery
  • Hands-on experience executing campaigns across digital channels, including paid media, social media, email and website
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and competing priorities
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to work effectively with school leaders and staff, internal specialists and other stakeholders
  • The ability to interpret campaign performance data and apply insights to improve outcomes
  • Experience working with or alongside a CRM or marketing automation platform
